Apesar de serem clones, as quatro estátuas da japonesa Kotobukiya lançadas na
2ª série dedicada às Guerras Clone (com lançamento anunciado para Fevereiro de 2009) também têm uma "face", mesmo que aparentemente seja "só" a cópia da de
Jango Fett.
Já Dave Filoni (Director Supervisor da série animada
Star Wars: The Clone Wars, na qual a Koto baseou as esculturas desta nova série) tinha afirmado num dos documentários que o
SWCP amplamente divulgou que cada clone tem a sua personalidade, apesar de tudo, e que isso se reflectiria no seu visual individual.
Como sempre, a Koto tenta exceder a já reconhecida qualidade das suas peças e desta feita o que decidiram fazer para lhes incutir (ainda mais) valor acrescentado? Simples: os "três + um" soldados clone da República que compõem a 2ª colecção ArtFX+ também terão reproduzida a sua face individual (além do capacete), conforme se pode ver pelas fotos que recebemos directamente da Kotobukiya exclusivo para Portugal. Although they’re reproducing clones, the four Kotobukiya statues included in the
ArtFX+ Series 2 to be launched February 2009 also have a "face", even if they’re “just” a copy of Jango Fett’s.
Dave Filoni himself (Supervising Director for the
Star Wars: The Clone Wars TV series on which Kotobukiya based these sculptures on) had already stated in one of the show’s documentaries that every clone had his own personality, reflected in their respective facial differences.
As always, Koto tries to excel the already recognized quality of its products and this time what did they decide to implement in order to add (even more) value to this edition? Simple: the "three + one" clone soldiers of the Republic that are part of this second ArtFX+ release will also have their own faces reproduced individually (besides their helmets), as you can see by the following photos we got directly from Kotobukiya exclusively for Portugal.
