Brett Stimely é um ator americano que participou em diversos filmes e séries de televisão como: Watchmen,Transformers III,Bloodstone,Murphy Brown,etc.

SWCP: Fez em dois filmes diferentes, o mesmo papel do presidente Kennedy (JFK).O que sentiu ao interpretar uma figura tão carismática?

B.S: Interpretei o Presidente John F Kennedy em três filmes: 'Watchmen,' 'Transformers: Dark of the Moon' e 'Kill the Dictator.Começamos a filmar 'Kill the Dictator' no dia 19 de Setembro de 2012 em Santo Domingo, na República Dominicana.

Sinto-me maravilhado ao ser constantemente pedido para retratar uma pessoa tão carismática e icónica. Espero cumprir as expetativas do personagem cada vez que for convidado.

SWCP: Sabemos que tem uma paixão por pedras e gemas coloridas. A que se deve esse gosto?

B.S: Desde menino, que tive uma paixão por pedras brilhantes. Quem diria em primeira mão que eu polia ágata na minha cama quando tinha cinco anos e me converti num colecionador de gemas coloridas. A pedra favorita da minha coleção é uma Andaluzite.

SWCP: É um grande ativista em organizações humanitárias. Pode falar-nos um pouco acerca dessa delas?

B.S: A ‘Olive Crest Abused Children's Foundation' cuida de recém-nascidos até aos 17 anos de idade. Crianças, que onde quer que tenham nascido, filhos de viciados ou retirados ao seus pais por outras razões, precisam do melhor cuidado e sistema de apoio que possamos dar. As maravilhosas pessoas da Olive Crest, focalizam todos os seus esforços para realizar este objetivo. Estou orgulhoso por ser capaz de ajudá-los da melhor maneira que posso.

SWCP: Tem tido algumas performances como piloto de automóveis em filmes e comerciais. É um apaixonado pelo desporto automóvel?

B.S: As corridas de Fórmula Um é o que realmente eu adoro. Anseio por qualquer papel num filme onde possa agarrar-me ao volante e ter um pouco de divertimento.

SWCP: Fale-nos acerca do seu último trabalho em `Ray Bradbury Kaleidoscope´que se estreou no Festival Sundance Film este ano.

B.S: O 'Ray Bradbury's Kaleidoscope'é uma poderosa e dramática tragédia apoiado por um elenco de estrelas e diretor.

Começamos com a maravilhosa história escrita pelo Ray Bradbury, ‘Kaleidoscope´ (1949), e um compromisso e focagem fortes da nossa produção.

Felizmente, o Sr. Bradbury teve o argumento para o filme ser terminado antes do seu falecimento. Ele deu-nos os seus "polegares para cima “e lágrimas de alegria quando viu o filme. ‘Ray Bradbury's Kaleidoscope'  teve a sua estreia mundial em festivais de cinema em 6/12/2012 no New Media Film Festival - Landmark Westside Theatre em Los Angeles.

Na tarde seguinte, venceu outros 80 filmes, tendo ganho o grande prémio do festival. Venceu ainda quatro dos sete festivais de filmes em que participou.

Foi aceite num total de 11 festivais de filmes, até agora (9/25/2012). 'Ray Bradbury's Kaleidoscope'foi submetido aos Festivais de Filmes de Sundance 2013 (de 17 a 27 de Janeiro de 2013) e Internationale Filmfestspiele em Berlim (de 7 a 17 de Fevereiro de 2013).Estamos atualmente à espera de notícias sobre a aceitação do nosso filme.

SWCP: Que mensagem quer enviar aos seus fãs?

B.S: Para todos aqueles que acompanham o meu trabalho: 'Se eu puder dar-vos um pouco de escape à vossa vida diária, então fico feliz ao fazer o meu trabalho´.

Brett Stimely is an American actor who participated in several movies and series such as: Watchmen, Transformers III, Bloodstone, Murphy Brown, etc.

SWCP: You did in two different movies, the same role: President

JFK.What do you felt while interpreting such a charismatic person?

B.S: I have played President John F Kennedy in three (3) motion pictures - "Watchmen," "Transformers: Dark of the Moon" and "Kill the Dictator." We started filming "Kill the Dictator" on September 19, 2012 in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. It feels wonderful to consistently be asked to portray a charismatic and iconic person. I hope to live up to the expectations of the character each time.

SWCP: We know that you have a passion for colored gem stones. Why?

B.S: Ever since I was a boy, I have had a passion for shiny stones. Who knew that first noticing naturally polished agates in a creek bed when I was five years old would turn me into a colored gemstone collector. My favorite stone in the collection is an Andalusite.

SWCP: You´re a great activist in several humanitarian organizations. Could you tell us more about them?

B.S: The "Olive Crest Abused Children's Foundation" takes care of new-borns through 17 year olds. Children, whether they are born out of addicts or removed from their parent for other reasons, need the best care and support system we can provide. The wonderful people at Olive Crest focus all their efforts to accomplish this goal. I am proud to be able to help them in any way that I can.

SWCP: You have been having some performances as a racing car pilot in movies and commercials. Are you a sport´s car fan?

B.S: Formula One racing is what I truly love. I look forward to any movie role where I can get behind the wheel and have some fun.

SWCP: Tell us a little more about your last work in `Ray Bradbury Kaleidoscope ‘that will be release this year in the Festival Sundance Film.

B.S: "Ray Bradbury's Kaleidoscope" is a powerful dramatic tragedy supported by a stellar cast and director. We started with the wonderful story written by Ray Bradbury, "Kaleidoscope" (1949), and the strong focus and commitment from our crew.

Happily, Mr. Bradbury got to screen the finished film before his passing. He gave us his "thumbs up" and tears of joy when he viewed the film.

"Ray Bradbury's Kaleidoscope" had its Film Festival World Premier on 6/12/2012 at the New Media Film Festival - Landmark Westside Theatre in Los Angeles, CA.

The next evening, it beat out 80 other films to win the festival Grand Prize.

It has won 4 out of 7 film festivals it has been in.

It has been accepted at a total of 11 film festivals, to date 9/25/2012.

"Ray Bradbury's Kaleidoscope" has been submitted to both the 2013 Sundance Film Festival (29 Annual from

January 17, 2013 to January 27, 2013) and the Internationale Filmfestspiele Berlin (63 Annual from February 7, 2013 to February 17, 2013). We are currently awaiting news of our film's acceptance.
