Entrevistas SWCP: Guiomar Alonso

Guiomar Alonso Sanchez é uma actriz/dupla espanhola que reside actualmente em Londres que já trabalhou em diversos filmes e séries televisivas de renome como: Velocidade Furiosa VI,Vingadores: A Era de Ultron,Wonder Woman,Guerra dos Tronos, Rogue One:Uma história de Star Wars,entre outros.

SWCP: Fale-nos do seu trabalho em Rogue One.

G.A: Fui a dupla da Felicity Jones (Jyn Erso).

SWCP: Parece que também vai trabalhar no episódio VIII de Star Wars.Pode adiantar-nos alguma coisa sobre a sua participação neste filme?

G.A: Estamos a filmar a segunda (side story ), de Star Wars. Mas ainda não posso desistir de nada já que estamos a filmar agora até ao final de Julho.Suponho que Star Wars VIII começará a ser filmado no final deste ano ou no início do próximo ano (mas é só um palpite).

SWCP: Em `A Guerra dos Tronos´foi dupla em dois episódios em 2015.Como foi essa experiência?

G.A: Engraçada, eu fiz de dupla da Daenerys  no primeiro episódio- piloto, em 2008, em Marrocos. Alguns anos mais tarde... Foi incrível, eu adoro a série e a sua localização (Sevilla, Espanha). Tive uma luta com o Nikolaj (Jamie Lannister) dobrei a Keisha (Obara Sand) eu também entrei na cena quando o dragão ateou fogo ao anfiteatro.

SWCP: Tendo trabalhado como dupla de diversas celebridades,lembra-se de alguma situação incomum ou engraçada que se tenha passado com alguma delas? 

G.A: OMG(Oh meu Deus)! tantas! Adorei trabalhar (dupla) com a Penélope Cruz e com a Maribel Verdú,duas atrizes espanholas, elas são muito divertidas e pessoas incríveis.

SWCP: Qual foi até agora,o seu papel mais difícil e arriscado?

G.A: Definitivamente em `Velozes e furiosos 6´, dobrando a Michele Rodriguez.Numa cena em que eu tive de saltar do jipe para um camião militar. Eu estava presa ao camião com um arame de apoio,e por alguma razão, a distância entre os dois era muito longa (estas coisas acontecem, linhas diferentes,...) Mas o meu motorista começou a abrandar até que a corda/fio que estava no camião começou a puxar-me diretamente para ele,e enbati contra ele como um adesivo e depois começei a escorregar pela força da gravidade até ás rodas, onde naquele momento,o pessoal começou a puxar a corda de volta.

Quando o camião parou, eu estava então perto do chão que a equipa de assistência e de coordenação de duplos, pensaram que eu estava morta... Mas, fizemos novamente a mesma cena por duas vezes até ter dado certo.

SWCP: Que mensagem quer enviar aos fãs de Star Wars?

G.A: Momentos excitantes ainda estão por chegar!!! Acredito que esta história irá ser formidável!!!!

Guiomar Alonso Sanchez is a spanish stunt double,resident in United Kingdom,who participated in several films such as Fast & Furious VI,Avengers: The era of Ultron,Wonder Woman,among others.In Rogue One:A Star Wars Story,Guiomar was a stunt hero double.

SWCP: Tell us about your work on Rogue One.

G.A: I doubled Felicity Jones (Jyn Erso)

SWCP: Looks like you're going to work on Star Wars Episode VIII. Could you tell us something about your participation?

G.A: We are filming the second (side story) of Star Wars. But yet, I can give up nothing  as is filming now until end July.

I'm guessing SE VIII will start filming either late this year or early next year (but is only a guess)

SWCP: In `Game of Thrones ‘you were a stunt performer in two episodes (2015).How it was that experience?

G.A: Funny enough, i did double Daenerys the first ever episode, the pilot, back in 2008 in Morroco. A few years later...It was amazing, I love the show and location (Sevilla,Spain) was great.

SWCP: Having worked as a stunt double of several renowned actresses,do you remember of any unusual or funny situation that occurred with any of them?

G.A: Omg! Sooo many! I love working (doubling) Penelope Cruz and Maribel Verdú as Spanish actress, they are great fun and amazing persons.

SWCP: What was your role so far more difficult and risky?

G.A: Definitely in Fast and Furious 6, doubling Michele Rodriguez. In one scene I have to jump from the jeep to a military truck. I was attached to the truck with an assist wire, for some reason the distance between both was too far away (this things happen, different lines, ...) BUT my driver started slowing down until the rope/wire that was in the truck started pulling me straight into the truck, hitting it like a sticker and then coming all the way down (gravity) until the wheels, where in that moment the wire guys started to pull back the wire/rope.

When the truck finally stopped, I was so close to the floor that, also the wire team, riggers, thought I was gone, dead... But, we did again 2 more takes straight away, and got it right.

SWCP: What message would you like to send for Star Wars fans?

G.A: Exciting times coming !!!! I believe this side story is going to be great!!
