S.G:provávelmente do nosso melhor Nerd.
In english:
if you´ve gone to the movies or watched television in the last 25 years, you already know Seth Green´s work.Green and Matthew Senreich are the creators/executive producers who, with their staff, also write and direct the Emmy-winning "Robot Chicken"their stop-motion animation sketch comedy show on Cartoon Network´s Adult Swin.Green provides multiple voices for many shows, having already received several awards and nominations. He and his team, are currently working on the next series of animated comedy "Star Wars"for LucasFilm.Seth Green is also the voice of Chris Griffin in "Family Guy" series. This tireless actor, worked almost nonstop since joining this business at age seven.
SWCP: of all these characters that you voiced, which is your favorite? and why? S.G: I probably enjoy our Nerd best. He's innocent and fearlessly silly, so he's really fun to perform. SWCP: how did the idea come of parodying Star Wars in the Robot Chicken series? S.G: We did a sketch in the first season that was part of a larger 'Spoilers' bit where we showed the most shocking twist moments in popular movies- The Empire Strikes Back was featured. Second season was the Emperor Phone Call, where the Imperial Emperor gets the call from Darth Vader explaining that he's failed and a bunch of teenagers just blew up the Death Star. After that Lucasfilm approached us about doing something with them and my partner Matt Senreich suggested a half-hour special. SWCP: how did you felt when you heard that had been nominated for the Emmys? S.G: So grateful. I've seen people win Emmys on TV my whole life, so to be nominated was surreal.Brenda's note(public relations): Seth's been nominated for many Emmys for Robot Chicken and for Outstanding Voiceover Performance and in 2010, Seth won an Emmy for OUTSTANDING ANIMATED PROGRAM for Robot Chicken. SWCP: the DVD Robot Chicken was the top sales of tv shows since it was launched. This fact owes much to the popularity of Star Wars? S.G: Star Wars is globally beloved. We love it. To be able to have fun in that universe is amazing. SWCP: comedy,is the kind of films where you feel most confortable? S.G: I like acting, dramatic or comedic. I put the same thought into a character whether it's serious or silly, so I feel comfortable in either. SWCP: how it was working with two movie "monsters":John Travolta and Robin Williams in "Old Dogs"? S.G: Amazing. Both icons and undeniable movie stars. John's in my favorite movies and Robin's the actor whose career I've most admired. They were so much fun to work with and didn't disappoint. I went to set each day and pinched myself to believe it was actually happening. SWCP: are you a big fan of Star Wars? S.G: Yes. SWCP: would you like to leave a message for your portuguese fans? S.G: Thank you much for watching. I'm happy to entertain you. SWCP: we want to thank Seth Green for his availability and kindness and also to his public relations,Brenda Feldman, who was the liaison for this interview.
